We are looking for a remote Senior .NET Developer with 3+ years of experience in a trading environment.
The successful candidate will work in a front office trading environment, dealing directly with business users and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with business users (desk analysts) to understand and enrich their requirements
- Collaborate closely with the lead functional developer to define, develop, test, and release new features
- Provide proposals and bug fixes for urgent production issues
- Develop best practice and standards within the development team
- Monitor and mentor junior members of the team
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong .NET/C# skills
- Good knowledge of SQL Server
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, demand-driven trading environment
- Strong communication and soft skills, able to balance diplomatic and pragmatic approaches with formal processes
- Ability to develop an understanding of the domain and existing solutions quickly with support and guidance from the lead functional developer
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with fundamental modeling of commodities, ideally energy , and meteorology
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Entity Framework, Blazor, Redis Cache
- Experience with Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus or other messaging technology
