Senior .NET developer

.NET, .NET Framework, C#, Git, REST API, SQL, Microsoft Azure, Redis

We are looking for a remote Senior .NET Developer with 3+ years of experience in a trading environment.

The successful candidate will work in a front office trading environment, dealing directly with business users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Work directly with business users (desk analysts) to understand and enrich their requirements
Collaborate closely with the lead functional developer to define, develop, test, and release new features
Provide proposals and bug fixes for urgent production issues
Develop best practice and standards within the development team
Monitor and mentor junior members of the team

Requirements

3+ years of relevant professional experience
Strong .NET/C# skills
Good knowledge of SQL Server
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, demand-driven trading environment
Strong communication and soft skills, able to balance diplomatic and pragmatic approaches with formal processes
Ability to develop an understanding of the domain and existing solutions quickly with support and guidance from the lead functional developer
B2+ English level

Nice to have

Experience with fundamental modeling of commodities, ideally energy , and meteorology
Experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with Entity Framework, Blazor, Redis Cache
Experience with Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus or other messaging technology
