We're looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our team in London, United Kingdom in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will contribute to building high-quality, scalable software solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and development teams to ensure timely, reliable, and efficient delivery. Your expertise in C#, strong T-SQL skills, and cloud technologies will help us design and maintain solutions that drive business impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with product owners and architects to implement robust solutions
- Provide accurate estimates and delivery timelines for software features
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks across the SDLC
- Build unit tests and follow test-driven development practices
- Deliver clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with coding standards
- Automate recurring tasks using appropriate tools and scripting
- Mentor junior developers through design guidance and code reviews
- Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions
- Ensure software complies with modern technologies and best practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in professional software development
- Proven experience delivering complex software solutions in leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and testing methodologies
- Expertise in C# and strong T-SQL experience, including query optimization and schema design
- Extensive knowledge of relational databases and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and cloud-native services
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in Agile environments
Nice to have
- Experience in financial markets or regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of security and compliance standards
- Background in cloud migration and microservices design
- Familiarity with DevOps and SRE best practices
- Experience designing cloud solutions or architecture
