We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team. Our client, a provider of comprehensive research solutions including e-journals, e-books, and research databases, is dedicated to maximizing the research experience for its users. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing software solutions that contribute to the success of this mission.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using .NET technologies
  • Implement and maintain web UI components, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Develop and optimize processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Utilize your expertise in DB to design and optimize database structures and queries
  • Implement queueing mechanisms using AMQ or RabbitMQ to enhance system performance and reliability
  • Drive Test-Driven Development practices, ensuring the delivery of robust and well-tested code
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as a .NET Developer
  • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services, utilizing cloud services for scalable and reliable application deployment
  • Strong web UI development skills using React, creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces
  • Extensive experience with ETL processes, ensuring efficient data flow and transformation
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB for database design and optimization
  • Expertise in implementing queueing mechanisms with AMQ or RabbitMQ for efficient data processing
  • Proven track record of Test-Driven Development (TDD) implementation, ensuring software quality
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, promoting modularity and scalability
  • Experience working with Elasticsearch for efficient search and retrieval of data
  • Proficiency in Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • B2+ English level for effective communication and collaboration
Nice to have
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automating deployment and monitoring
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
