A Senior .NET Developer position is open in our remote team.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software applications that meet customer requirements. The project is based on constructing a scalable microservices-based architecture with .NET and deploying it on cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, Entity Framework, C#, and the Microservice Architecture Pattern is necessary. The successful candidate will join a seasoned team of developers dedicated to creating robust and scalable software solutions.
Responsibilities
- High-quality software application design and development to meet customer requirements
- Cross-functional team collaboration, including developers, architects and project managers, to deliver top-tier software solutions
- Involvement in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to testing and deployment
- Implementation of best practices and standards to ensure software quality
- Active participation in code reviews providing constructive colleague feedback
- Contribution towards the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies
- Mentoring and training junior developers for career development
Requirements
- At least 3 years of .NET development experience, specialising in web application development
- Proven experience in designing and implementing REST and SOAP APIs, and Entity Framework
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Expertise in C# and LINQ
- Proficiency in implementing Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Proficiency in Docker and containerisation
- Agile/Scrum development methodologies experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to excel in a remote team environment
- Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience in DevOps practices, particularly continuous integration and deployment
- Familiarity with unit testing and automated testing frameworks
