We are seeking a skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our team, contributing to the development and maintenance of the Charles River platform, a leading financial software solution. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions using .NET technologies, REST APIs, and ASP.NET MVC. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionality into the platform, and provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software solutions using .NET technologies, REST APIs, and ASP.NET MVC
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionality into the platform
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications and documentation, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation of software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and insights to improve code quality
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in .NET development, demonstrating expertise in the .NET framework and related technologies
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework, showcasing your ability to design and develop scalable software solutions
  • Working knowledge of Angular, enabling you to collaborate effectively with front-end developers
  • Experience working with the Charles River platform, demonstrating your in-depth understanding of the platform's architecture and functionality
  • Thorough understanding of system administration, data imports and exports, and middle-tier setup and configuration
  • Proficiency in using Webadmin for system configuration
  • Working knowledge of FIX setup and usage, and SSRS report configuration
  • Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
  • Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, crucial for meticulous development efforts
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with containerization using Docker, demonstrating your ability to create custom images and work in container run environments
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, enabling you to effectively manage project tasks and workflows
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Pipeline, showcasing your ability to automate software delivery processes.
