We are seeking an accomplished Senior .NET Developer with website/web service development experience to join our remote team.
You will be responsible for developing new features and changes in legacy systems, researching production support requests, and fixing patches and issues in the database. You should be able to quickly understand legacy systems and possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
You will be required to know C#, and .NET Framework, as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MS SQL, REST, and other related technologies.
You will be working with a team of talented developers, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and changes in legacy systems
- Research production support requests and provide data extracts
- Fix patches and issues in the database, and deploy new components to the IIS/database
- Collaborate with a talented team of developers and ensure that all work is delivered to the highest standards
- Maintain excellent communication with team members and stakeholders
- Participate in Agile/Kanban methodologies and continuously improve development processes
- Engage with your mentor for continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in C# and .NET Framework with a strong understanding of website/web service development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong familiarity with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API
- Experience with GitHub and Entity Framework
- Knowledge of Unity Container or other IoC Container
- Familiarity with SOLID design principles
- Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and .NET WCF
- Deep understanding of REST architecture
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL, AngularJS, KnockoutJS
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with legacy systems
- Fluency in spoken and written English, allowing effective communication with team members and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with Apigee Integration
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, Google Cloud Platform, and Jenkins
- Familiarity with SoapUI and Octopus
- Knowledge of Cloud design patterns
