As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for writing code, collaborating on planning, development, testing, and deployment, as well as communicating effectively with the scrum master and project manager about project progress and completing assignments on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Write code to develop advanced, scalable, and reusable application modules
  • Participate actively in team meetings and collaborate on planning, development, testing, and deployment
  • Communicate effectively with scrum master and project manager about project progress and complete assignments on schedule
  • Learn and share the lessons learnt between different teams of D2L
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a primary domain
  • Must have expertise in .NET, Angular, JavaScript, C#, Elasticsearch, and JSON
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
  • Experience in developing and deploying advanced, scalable, and reusable application modules
  • Strong understanding of Elasticsearch, geospatial search, PHP/MySQL, AWS, and familiarity with N-Unit testing, Mocha.js, integration testing, mocking frameworks, AWS Athena, AWS Lambda, Web services/REST APIs, GIT, VS Code, Pub-Sub model, and Kibana
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of security best practices in web software, especially preventing CSRF, XSS, and SQL injection attacks
  • Experience with the Agile development methodology in the educational domain
  • Ability to work independently, perform under pressure, and adapt to change
