We are seeking a remote Senior .NET Automated Tester to bolster our team, with the express aim of enhancing test automation coverage for our client's desktop applications.
This project necessitates superior automated testing skills and prior experience in code review and desktop UI testing. Your role will involve utilizing Visual Studio and other test automation tools to augment automation levels and broaden the test automation coverage. The project is currently underway; your role will be to facilitate the introduction of new automation.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in defining and executing test automation strategies in collaboration with the team
- Undertaking code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of code
- Designing and executing desktop UI tests
- Broadening the automation coverage to enhance test automation coverage
- Utilizing Gherkin language to write and maintain automated test scripts
- Engaging in continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills under mentor guidance
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in automated testing with .NET technologies
- Prior experience in code review and desktop UI testing
- Proficiency in using test automation tools such as Visual Studio
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with a competency level of at least upper-intermediate
Nice to have
- Experience in using Appium and WinAppDriver for Desktop Test Automation
- Experience in using Azure DevOps for test management and reporting
- Familiarity with Gherkin language for writing test automation scripts
