We are seeking a Senior Murex Front Office Business Analyst to support trading and investment functions by leveraging deep expertise in Murex configuration, trade lifecycle management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in troubleshooting production issues, driving process improvements, and bridging the gap between business and technology teams within a capital markets environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse business and technology stakeholders to understand priorities, product roadmaps, existing technology landscapes, and key risks
  • Adjust communication style to present technical, investment, and operational information clearly to varied audiences
  • Build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships
  • Work directly with business users to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Perform complex data analysis, identify dependencies and root causes, and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency and drive related change initiatives
Requirements
  • Strong practical understanding of trading workflows and the end-to-end trade lifecycle, with experience supporting front-office and/or investment management functions
  • Working knowledge of fundamental pricing and valuation concepts across FX Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, and Credit Derivatives, including the key market data, instrument attributes, and valuation inputs that drive pricing and risk
  • Ability to understand how financial products are represented, booked, valued, and processed within trading and investment systems
  • Experience spanning pre-trade workflows, trade capture, event lifecycles, risk and valuation, through downstream processing, rather than being limited primarily to post-trade settlement or messaging processes
  • Comfortable engaging directly with traders, portfolio managers, investment professionals, and other business users to understand requirements and troubleshoot trade, pricing, valuation, and production issues
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Murex experience, including projects, configuration, and production support within the investment or capital markets industry
  • Strong practical understanding of the Murex trade lifecycle, including pre-trade workflows, post-trade and event workflows, MxML data processing across trade, market, and reference data, Generator/Template configurations, and Murex valuation inputs
  • Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Murex functionality; candidates should be comfortable working directly within the platform, including the GUI, database, and application server, rather than relying primarily on functional or process-level knowledge
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience creating, configuring, and troubleshooting Murex DataMart (DM) reporting
  • Strong understanding of how swaps (interest rate, asset, and credit default), financing instruments, and lending/borrowing products are configured, represented, and valued within Murex
  • Ability to independently investigate Murex production issues, trace problems across trade and data flows, identify root causes, and implement or coordinate appropriate resolutions
