We are seeking a Senior HarmonyOS Developer in Chengdu. You will build and maintain native HarmonyOS applications, owning features from technical analysis through release. You will collaborate with product, design, back-end and QA teams to deliver secure, reliable user experiences. You will also help shape engineering decisions, improve code quality and keep the app performant across devices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test and maintain native HarmonyOS features using ArkTS and ArkUI
- Translate product requirements and designs into robust, maintainable implementations
- Build reusable components and integrate apps with back-end services and REST APIs
- Apply mobile architecture, lifecycle and concurrency practices to deliver responsive experiences
- Write automated unit and UI tests, participate in code reviews and follow team standards
- Debug defects and performance issues across HarmonyOS devices and versions
- Support build, packaging, signing and release activities using the HarmonyOS toolchain
- Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to team members
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining native HarmonyOS applications
- Expertise in ArkTS and ArkUI or equivalent HarmonyOS language and UI framework for the target version
- Experience with DevEco Studio, the HarmonyOS Software Development Kit (SDK) and debugging or profiling tools
- Knowledge of mobile architecture, lifecycle management, concurrency and resource management
- Experience integrating REST APIs, handling asynchronous data flows and error states
- Testing capability including unit tests and UI tests for mobile applications
- Working knowledge of version control and collaborative workflows including Git and code reviews
- Understanding of mobile security, performance, accessibility and device compatibility
Nice to have
- Experience with HarmonyOS distributed capabilities or multi-device experiences
- Experience with mobile continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and release automation
- Experience developing native apps for Android or iOS
