We're seeking a Senior Python Developer to become a part of our remote team.
Our client is presently engaged in the ongoing development of their primary application, and they're in need of someone with Python expertise, familiarity with web frameworks like FastAPI or Flask, SQL databases, and Amazon Web Services.
As a team member, you'll be instrumental in the continuous enhancement and improvement of the company's primary application.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with the client's team on development and maintenance of the core application using Python
- Involvement in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions
- Oversight for code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices
- Close engagement with the client's team to understand project requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Contribution to the continuous enhancement and optimization of the core application
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in the application's production and non-production environments
- Effective communication with the client's team to provide project updates and discuss technical solutions
- Adherence to project timelines and delivery of high-quality code meeting project requirements
- Attendance and active participation in team meetings, contributing ideas for the improvement of the core application
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Python Developer experience
- Proficiency in FastAPI or Flask web frameworks
- Familiarity with SQL databases in application development
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based solutions
- Capability to work effectively within a friendly and collaborative client team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Track record of delivering high-quality code within project deadlines
- Experience with Agile methodologies in software development
- Understanding of software design principles and best practices
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes containerization technologies for application deployment would be beneficial.
