Senior Manual Tester

Hybrid in Brazil, Colombia

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manual Tester to join our team and lead initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role focuses on policy administration applications like Guidewire Policy Center and Portals, with a strong emphasis on system integration, regression testing, and creating a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of system specifications to extract and document testing requirements
  • Create and maintain functional test cases, data validation procedures, and test scripts within a structured repository
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to design and execute comprehensive test plans
  • Perform manual and automated test executions while clearly reporting outcomes
  • Log, track, and communicate defects, bugs, and errors to development teams with accuracy and timeliness
  • Document and monitor different testing phases, including functional, end-to-end, and regression testing
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester
  • Expertise in QA methodologies and practical testing experience in the Insurance industry
  • Showcase of strong skills in testing UI, web services, and batch-based integrations, including web portals
  • Proficiency in coding/scripting languages such as VBScript, XML, SQL, etc.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as HP QTP, Selenium, etc.
  • Specific Quality Assurance experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle
  • Experience in Rating
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a B2 level
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) for test management
