Senior Maintenance & Support Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Maintenance & Support Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for production support of the business critical systems including incident management, bug fixes and minor enhancements. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where priorities change rapidly, so the ability to resolve complex technical issues is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize incidents and problems as they arise and assign resources to resolve them
- Coordinate and contribute hands-on to the technical work assigned to the team
- Collaborate with the 3rd Line Support Manager and other stakeholders to provide robust planning and execution against the assigned deliverables
- Contribute to cross-team activities, such as the development of standards and processes, as well as ensuring compliance with these
- Build and promote a positive culture and working environment within the team and the organization
- Oversee development and unit testing of releases
- Collaborate closely with QA team for any test/UAT releases and agree the release target dates
- Keep the technical document and the project artifacts up to date
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong experience with databases and SQL skills using SQL Server, Sybase or other relevant database technologies
- Experience in .NET Technologies, including C#
- Knowledge of Java and Cloud Native technologies on at least one of the major cloud services providers (AWS preferable, Google Cloud or Azure)
- Experience in unit and functional testing
- ITIL experience
- Ability to apply analytical and creative thought and translate into technical solutions
- Ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Upper-Intermediate level of English language proficiency
