EPAM Vietnam is looking for a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining cutting-edge product recommender systems, with a strong focus on MLOps and optimizing machine learning algorithms.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain our product recommender systems, with a focus on MLOps (e.g., deployment and performance monitoring) and optimizing machine learning algorithms in PySpark
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to feed data into the recommendation systems
- Collaborate with other data scientists and engineers to develop innovative machine learning solutions that drive business value
- Analyze and evaluate the performance of the recommendation systems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning technologies and leverage them to improve the recommendation systems
Requirements
- More than 4 years of experience in machine learning engineering with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong experience in the Python and Pandas
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g., Dagster, MLFlow) and techniques such as model deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization
- Knowledge of Azure cloud computing platforms (e.g., Blob storage, Databricks), vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Faiss, Pgvector) and API deployment
- Good understanding of software engineering and DevOps skills (Docker, Git, CI/CD)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues on time
- Good communication skills and familiarity with an Agile working environment
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English at B2 level or above is essential
Nice to have
- Experience in PySpark
- Experience in building recommendation systems for e-commerce
