We are looking for a skilled Senior or Lead Analyst with BI expertise who is dedicated to developing strategies from data insights to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our clients' services.
Our BI analysts have experience in multiple business domains, technologies, and product design. With exposure to nearly all business domains, our BI analysts can apply their expertise in areas of interest, including Health and care/Life Science, Finance/Investment Banking, and more.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Build data models to support current needs and strategic business objectives
- Direct data operations that influence the outcome of the final product or service, including data cleansing, validation, and profiling
- Design modern architectural solutions such as DWH and Data Lake
- Collaborate with data specialists including Data Scientists, Engineers, and Architects as a primary data source provider
- Work with stakeholders at all levels, including project and technical managers throughout the product lifecycle
- Plan and conduct requirement discovery sessions to identify dependencies and blockers by engaging stakeholders from business and IT
- Identify and resolve issues related to current and future data states to improve data quality
- Prototype business needs using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Influence development processes through backlog management
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or data analyst in BI or DWH projects; experience with Big Data projects is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for managing client expectations and presenting interim and final project outcomes to stakeholders
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team without supervision
- Background in RDBM, NoSQL DBS, Data Lake, or DWH
- Proficiency in SQL, PL-SQL, T-SQL, SnowSQL, HiveQL, or any scripting language such as Python, R, or JavaScript
- Experience in data modeling and ETL specification creation
- Skills in using modern data visualization tools
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2) for communication with business and IT teams across different countries
