Senior JavaScript Software Engineer for an American Publishing Company

We are currently looking for a remote Senior Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, solid background in React and Node.js to join our team.
The customer is a global online news and information provider. The company provides clients with financial news and information products and services and comprises of newswires, websites, newspapers, apps, newsletters, databases, magazines, and video.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and roll out solutions using the modern technology stack
- Work with the user interface, technology integration, and back-end API systems
- Lead the development team and communicate on a daily basis
- Release estimation, planning, and timely integration with other stakeholders
- Performance fixes and optimization
- Continuous discovery, evaluation, and implementation new best practices to maximize the development quality and efficiency
- Code review
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript
- Solid background in React and Node.js (focus on web but not much of pure UI feature development)
- Experience with web-based technologies like Redux, Redis, JSON, HTML5, CSS, etc.
- Exposure to Jenkins, Docker, AWS or other cloud or container based application deployment
- Solid experience developing web applications
- Proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including web development, service-oriented architecture, cloud computing, test driven development, CI/CD
- Familiarity with ad technologies / programmatic industry would be a plus
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
