Senior JavaScript Developer (React & AWS)

We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Developer (React & AWS) to join our remote team. Responsibilities
  • Architect and lead the development of high-quality web applications using React and AWS
  • Manage and mentor a team of JavaScript developers, setting technical direction and promoting a culture of excellence
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and actively participate in code reviews
  • Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define requirements and refine technical approaches
  • Optimize applications for maximum efficiency and scalability
  • Design robust solutions to address business challenges
  • Integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies into development processes
  • Monitor application performance and make adjustments as necessary
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in web technology and introduce them where appropriate
  • Lead by example, encouraging best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in JavaScript development
  • Proficiency in AWS services and managing scalable cloud-based applications
  • In-depth experience with React and its ecosystem
  • Strong experience in unit testing with tools like Jest, Karma, or Mocha
  • Skilled in using build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt
  • Solid understanding of TypeScript and its application in large scale projects
  • Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS, focusing on cross-browser compatibility and performance
  • Familiarity with state management patterns and libraries such as Redux or Flux
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts
Nice to have
  • Experience with server-side rendering technologies
  • Previous work with mobile-first responsive design
  • Proficiency in additional cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Azure
