We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Developer with experience in API development and MongoDB to join our remote team. Our client is a leading tech company that provides a platform for online retailers to manage their e-commerce operations. As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the platform's APIs and integrations, ensuring scalability, and maintaining high performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a new web application, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Design and develop REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration between different components of the application
- Develop high-quality code using JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, HTML, and TypeScript
- Identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating closely with other members of the team
- Ensure optimal performance and data protection, implementing appropriate security measures
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in web development
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, identifying areas for optimization and proposing solutions
- Collaborate closely with other members of the team, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on JavaScript
- Expertise in Angular and Node.js, with a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations
- Experience in designing and developing REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration between different components of the application
- Strong proficiency in HTML and TypeScript, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Experience in developing scalable and secure web applications, ensuring optimal performance and data protection
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and with external consultants
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
