We're in search of an exceptionally talented Senior Solution Architect to spearhead our client's initiative for modernization, encompassing both business and cloud transformation endeavors.
As a seasoned Senior Solution Architect, your role involves close collaboration with our clients, delving into their distinct business requirements, evaluating existing mainframe systems, and conceptualizing inventive solutions that propel digital transformation. Your adeptness in legacy technologies, cloud integration, and modernization strategies is pivotal for the triumph of this undertaking.
Responsibilities
- Taking charge of the modernization project, steering both business and cloud transformation initiatives
- Collaborating with clients to comprehend their distinctive business requisites and evaluating current mainframe systems
- Crafting inventive solutions to propel digital transformation
- Devising modernization strategies harmonizing with client objectives
- Ensuring successful implementation of modernization technologies, spanning re-platforming, re-factoring, re-architecting, and cloud migration
- Providing guidance and mentorship on solution architecture and modernization technologies to the team
- Offering technical leadership and expertise to the team
- Collaborating with stakeholders, showcasing exceptional communication and leadership acumen
- Ensuring adherence to pertinent architecture frameworks and standards
- Continually assessing industry trends and best practices to enhance and implement optimal modernization strategies
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in software development, emphasizing Java proficiency
- Participation in at least 5 projects in a technical team lead capacity with ongoing hands-on involvement over the last 3 years
- A minimum of 4 years as a Software Architect
- Profound understanding of legacy technologies, cloud integration, and modernization strategies
- Proven track record in both business and IT transformation initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Expertise in architecture design, encompassing solution architecture
- Experience in modernization technologies, spanning re-platforming, re-factoring, re-architecting, and cloud migration
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Strong leadership and management capabilities to efficiently lead and oversee a team
- Advanced English language skills (C1+ level) enabling articulate communication and discussions with the team and stakeholders
- The ability to work remotely with occasional office attendance
