We are looking for a passionate Senior Java Software Engineer with a strong focus on delivery to strengthen our engineering team.
Please note that working from the client's office in Krakow is required 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications
- Drive continuous integration and improvements
- Drive architecture, standards and guidelines for a globally deployed software solution
- Support product management in driving the product roadmap
- Work closely with the rest of the pod to ensure delivery of a robust and sustainable solution meeting business requirements with consideration of user experience
- Ensure alignment to the organizational guidelines, principles, standards and processes
- Advise Business Analysts, Testers and Management on all technical matters
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing Java applications
- Skills in SQL databases, ideally Oracle
- Knowledge of SDLC platforms and processes, including REX (release executor), the RFC process and GSNOW/Atlas
- Proficiency in a Linux-based server environment, including bash (shell) scripting
- Understanding of all aspects of the application development (SDLC) and support life cycle
- Well-developed business communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience working as part of a global team
- Strong personal prioritization and time management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the Spring framework
- Experience working with MongoDB
- Familiarity with MS Azure Cloud platforms, Databricks and Denodo
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Git, GitLab Pipelines, Nexus, Ansible and RPM packaging
