We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team in the FX trading domain, bringing strong design and problem-solving skills to build robust, scalable enterprise systems.
Please note that working from the office in Krakow is required 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop server-side Java applications for FX trading systems
- Design and build robust, scalable distributed systems in an enterprise environment
- Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and rollout
- Provide Level 3 support for production systems
- Improve older code bases and apply modern best practices to new projects
- Collaborate independently and within a team to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development
- Proficiency in multi-threaded and asynchronous programming
- Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of Kafka, Tibco EMS, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Understanding of reactive programming paradigms
- Familiarity with Linux
- Fluent English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Cloud/Azure, Docker, and DevOps
- Background in FX domain
