As a seasoned professional, your responsibilities encompass troubleshooting, supporting, and devising solutions tailored to meet the business requirements. Collaborate closely with fellow technical experts, product leaders, and development peers to craft inventive and impactful solutions. This role provides a unique chance to make substantial contributions to the design, development, and optimization of features within a dynamic Agile development setting.
- Provide support for applications and systems in a production environment, ensuring prompt issue resolution
- Review requirements and translate them into a documented technical design for seamless implementation
- Employ the Agile development process (Scrum) to design and develop new features
- Prioritize and uphold high-quality standards throughout the development stages
- Ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot code in large-scale, complex environments
- Collaborate with Developers, Product and Program Management, and senior technical staff to deliver customer-centric solutions
- Offer technical input for new feature requirements, collaborating with business owners and architects
- Ensure continuous improvement by staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies
- Drive the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members, assisting in their skill enhancement and career growth
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Actively contribute to architectural and technical discussions
- Minimum of 3 years of production experience in Java development
- Expertise in server development in Java, encompassing both functional and non-functional aspects
- Proficiency in Hibernate
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure for cloud-based infrastructure and application management
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
- In-depth expertise in the Spring Framework for constructing scalable and high-performance applications
- Experience with SQL Databases for designing and managing database schema, including procedures, triggers, and views
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as JMS and Apache Kafka
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
- Experience in test-driven development (TDD/ATDD)
