We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's core platform, as well as contributing to the design and implementation of new features and functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our product meets high standards of quality and reliability, and that our customers have a seamless experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs, and to design and implement new features and functionality
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and consistency
- Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure software quality and reliability
- Participate in the deployment and maintenance of software solutions, including troubleshooting and bug-fixing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and related fields
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of core Java concepts and best practices
- Expertise in Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, and Amazon Web Services, with experience in designing and deploying microservices architectures
- Proficiency in SQL, REST, and Docker, with experience in developing and deploying containerized applications
- Experience in front-end development using Angular, with a good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience in SOAP and Helm, with knowledge of API design and implementation
- Experience in Spring Data and Spring MVC, with knowledge of the Spring Framework
- Experience in Java Microservice Infrastructure, with knowledge of container orchestration and deployment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices
