We are seeking an experienced remote Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent skills in Java, ReactJS, AWS, Kafka, and other related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist and mentor Junior Engineers in troubleshooting and tuning of high volume, distributed applications, primarily on Spark
- Display a sense of ownership over assigned work
- Participate in on-call rotation, while focusing on enabling developers and analysts through automation and self-service
- Ensure SLAs are met for uptime, data freshness, data correctness, and quality
- Implement remediation of cases where we diverge from industry best practices
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Proficiency in ReactJS, AWS, and Kafka
- Experience in troubleshooting and tuning of high volume, distributed applications
- Deep knowledge of Spark, HDFS, Cassandra, and other industry-standard data technologies
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Ruby
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and REST API
