We are in search of a Senior Java Developer armed with AWS proficiency and extensive knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
In your capacity as our Product Engineer, you will be navigating through the design and build of software solutions adaptable and maintainable. Your tech expertise will span across areas including Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will collaborate with a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to timely ensure top-grade product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with multi-discipline teams to understand project requisites and develop solutions
- Development and execution of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Creation and preservation of code in alignment with clean coding principles
- Execution of code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Establishment and upkeep of automated tests to confirm product quality
- Involvement in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Assurance of code delivery in terms of punctuality and quality
- Documentation efforts for code and system architecture
- Participation in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, focusing on Java
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Knowledge in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Ownership mindset and proactive approach in solving problems
- Fluent English communication, both verbal and written for seamless remote team collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
