We are on the search for a Senior Java Developer, someone with AWS proficiency and a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, to become part of our remote team.

In the role of our Product Engineer, you will take up the task of designing and developing software solutions that not only scale but are also maintainable. Your skill set should span a wide range of technologies, not limited to but including Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, as well as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Your role will involve working in harmony with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of the product.

Responsibilities
  • Cross-functional team collaboration to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
  • Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions
  • Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
  • Upholding coding standards through code reviews
  • Setting up and protecting automated tests to ensure quality deliverables
  • Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
  • Timely delivery of high-quality code
  • Documentation of code and system architecture
  • Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
  • Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years' software development experience, focusing on Java
  • Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Mastery of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Previous experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
  • Experience in optimizing complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
  • Proven experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
  • Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
  • Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to proactively solve problems
  • Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with an Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level for remote collaboration
Nice to have
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
