We're seeking a Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency and extensive knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As our Product Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing software solutions that are both scalable and easy to maintain. Your technological expertise should span a diverse array of areas including, but not limited to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, and should also encompass Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Expect to work in harmony with an array of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient, timely delivery of our product.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Design and implementation of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
- Upholding coding standards through code review
- Ensuring quality deliverables through automated tests
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development processes and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Participation in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Demonstrable expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Skills in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English, with an Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical exposure to Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
