We're on the hunt for a Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency and a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, to join our remote team.
As our Product Engineer, your role will encompass the design and development of software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable. Your expertise should span a wide range of technology areas, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, on top of Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Your role is integral to a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, ensuring efficient and timely product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Understanding project requirements through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Executing scalable and maintainable software solutions design
- Application of clean coding principles to code creation and maintenance
- Maintenance of coding standards via code review
- Assurance of quality deliverables through automated tests
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation related to code and system architecture
- Contribution to system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years in software development with a focus on Java
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Ability to optimize complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Skilled in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Experience with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership with proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English, upper-intermediate proficiency or higher, with dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
