We are in search of a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS expertise along with a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to become a part of our remote team.

In the role of our Product Engineer, your responsibilities will include the design and development of software solutions that prioritize scalability and maintainability. Your technological prowess should extend across various areas, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, in conjunction with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will work harmoniously with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the product is delivered efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Engaging with cross-functional teams for an understanding of project requirements and delivery of solutions
  • Development and execution of scalable and maintainable software solutions
  • Application of clean coding principles in the creation and maintenance of code
  • Maintenance of coding standards through code review
  • Establishment and protection of automated tests to ensure quality of deliverables
  • Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
  • Timely delivery of quality code
  • Undertaking documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
  • Participation in system design and architecture discussions
  • Provision of mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
  • Possession of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
  • Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
  • Proficiency in handling complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
  • Proven experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
  • Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
  • Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
  • Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English with an Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, strong verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Practical knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
