We are in search of a Senior Java Developer with a strong grasp of AWS and a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As our Product Engineer, your role will encompass the design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technological expertise should encompass a wide array of areas including, but not limited to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, in addition to Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will be collaborating with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the product is delivered efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Scalable and maintainable software solution design and implementation
- Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
- Code review for enforcing coding standards
- Establishment and maintenance of automated tests to ensure quality deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience in software development, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expert knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Familiarity with optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience in creating unique solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in English, with Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
