We are seeking a Senior Java Developer specializing in AWS with a thorough knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
In the role of our Product Engineer, you will design and create software solutions that offer scalability and maintainability. Your areas of technical proficiency will include diverse languages like Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You'll collaborate with developers, testers, and other team members to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and develop solutions
- Generation and execution of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Creation and maintenance of code using clean coding principles
- Performing code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Establishment and maintenance of automated tests to check the quality of deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Guaranteeing timely and quality delivery of code
- System architecture and code documentation
- Participation in system design and architectural discussions
- Provision of technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, particularly in Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Mastery in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of ownership
- Fluent in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, with excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with remote teams
Nice to have
- Previous experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
