We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate would possess AWS expertise and profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
As our Product Engineer, your role would encompass designing and developing software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable. Your skill set should span across a wide range of technology areas, not limited to but including Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, complemented by Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will collaborate with a diverse team consisting of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely and efficient product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Interacting with cross-functional teams to grasp project requirements and deliver solutions
- Designing and executing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Adherence to clean coding principles for code creation and maintenance
- Upholding coding standards through code reviews
- Establishing and maintaining automated tests for quality assurance
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development processes and activities
- Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code
- Undertaking documentation tasks for code and system architecture
- Contributing to system design and architecture discussions
- Guiding and mentoring junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years' software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Familiarity with the optimization of complex, high-load systems
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership mentality and proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in English, with an upper-intermediate or higher proficiency level, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
