We're searching for a Senior Java Developer, an expert in AWS, with elaborate knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As our leading Product Engineer, you will be involved in formulating and implementing software solutions that offer scalability and maintainability. Your expertise should range over technologies like Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, as well as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. The role requires teamwork with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to accomplish timely and successful product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Interaction with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and devise solutions
- Development and execution of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Creation and preservation of code following clean coding principles
- Oversight of code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Establishment and preservation of automated tests to check the quality of deliverables
- Engagement in the Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Assurance of punctual code delivery and its quality
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Participation in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of technical guidance and mentorship to newer developers
Requirements
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any related course
- A minimum of 4 years in software development, emphasizing Java
- Previous engagement with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs and Integration
- Acquaintance with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership sense and a proactive problem-solving approach
- Fluent English speakers, Upper-Intermediate level or higher, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills for efficient collaboration with remote teams
Nice to have
- Previous exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
