We are on the hunt for a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS expertise and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. The chosen candidate will join our remote team as a Product Engineer.
In this role, your responsibilities will encompass the design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technological expertise should span a wide range of areas, including, but not limited to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, in addition to Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will work cohesively with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the product is delivered efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Developing and implementing scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Adherence to clean coding principles during code creation and maintenance
- Upholding coding standards through code review
- Establishing and protecting automated tests to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Participating actively in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Delivering code promptly and of high quality
- Undertaking documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in English, with Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
