We're seeking a Senior Java Developer who's proficient in AWS and possesses in-depth expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, designing and building scalable and maintainable software solutions will be your central responsibility. With your diverse skill set in technology areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, coupled with your proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure, you'll play a critical role in our team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time, quality product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration to understand project needs and devise solutions
- Development and implementation of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Creation and maintenance of clean, comprehensive code
- Conducting code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Establishment and sustenance of automated tests to assess deliverable quality
- Active participation in the Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Adherence to code delivery schedules and quality standards
- Thorough documentation of code and system architecture
- Participation in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, predominantly in Java
- Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Previous experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Python fluency, along with both SQL and NoSQL tools and APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, underpinned by strong ownership
- Upper-Intermediate level or higher English fluency, with strong verbal and written communication skills for effective remote team collaboration
Nice to have
- Previous experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in working with Big Data technologies, like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
