We seek a Senior Java Developer, proficient in AWS and deeply knowledgeable about Data Structures and Algorithms, to onboard our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, you will engage in the design and development of scalable and maintainable software solutions. Your technical prowess should span across various technology areas, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, in addition to Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will be coordinating with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, ensuring the product is delivered efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and provide solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Applying clean coding principles to code creation and maintenance
- Upholding coding standards through code reviews
- Establishing and maintaining automated tests to ensure quality deliverables
- Actively participating in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Delivering code in a timely manner and with high quality
- Performing documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Past experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Skilled in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in English, with Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
