Our team is seeking a Senior Java Developer with expertise in AWS and a thorough understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
This remote role will involve the design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a broad technical skill set, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Working in tandem with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure the efficient, timely delivery of our product.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver project solutions based on requirements
- Designing and executing maintainable, scalable software solutions
- Applying clean coding principles to code creation and maintenance
- Upholding coding standards through code review
- Establishing and maintaining automated tests to ensure quality of deliverables
- Actively participating in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Delivering code in a timely manner, ensuring high quality
- Documenting code and system architecture
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Past experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Proven track record in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership mentality and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English, with an Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level; excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other containerization technologies
- Practical knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
