We're on the lookout for a Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency and a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
In the role of Product Engineer, you'll engage in the design and development of scalable and maintainable software solutions. Your technological expertise should encompass a wide range of areas, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, as well as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Understanding project requirements through collaboration with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions
- Designing and executing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Applying clean coding principles to code creation and maintenance
- Reviewing code to enforce coding standards
- Safeguarding the establishment of automated tests to ensure quality deliverables
- Engaging actively in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Delivering code in a timely manner while maintaining high quality
- Documenting code and system architecture-related tasks
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities
- English fluency, with an upper-intermediate or higher proficiency level, and dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
