We seek a Senior Java Developer with AWS expertise and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, your role involves designing and developing scalable and maintainable software solutions. Your technical skills should encompass a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, as well as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will collaborate with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles to code creation and maintenance
- Enforcement of coding standards via code review
- Setting up and safeguarding automated tests for quality deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation tasks for code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior work with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Skills in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, with an Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and strong verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
