Our remote team is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer with AWS expertise and a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
As our Product Engineer, your responsibilities will span across designing and developing scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technological know-how should cover a wide range of areas, such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, ensuring the product is delivered efficiently and promptly.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Design and execution of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
- Enforcement of coding standards via code review
- Establishment and preservation of automated tests for quality deliverables
- Active involvement in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Timely and high-quality code delivery
- Documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, focusing on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in optimizing complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Experience in creating unique solutions (features)
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluent English, with an upper-intermediate or higher proficiency level, and dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
