We seek a Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency and a comprehensive understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As our Product Engineer, you will participate in the design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technological expertise should be wide-ranging, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will collaborate with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient, timely product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Understanding project requirements and delivering solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Execution and design of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles in creating and maintaining code
- Enforcement of coding standards via code review
- Establishment and protection of automated tests for quality deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development processes and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation related to code and system architecture
- Participation in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of software development experience, focusing on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Skills in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English, at least at the Upper-Intermediate level, along with dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical exposure to Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
