We're on the hunt for a Senior Java Developer with a deep understanding of AWS, Data Structures, and Algorithms to join our remote team.
Your role as our Product Engineer will involve designing and developing software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable. Your technological expertise should include, but not be limited to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Working alongside a diverse group of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, you'll ensure timely, efficient product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Understanding project requirements through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles to code creation and maintenance
- Code review for enforcing coding standards
- Establishment and maintenance of automated tests to ensure quality deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Punctual delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing technical guidance to junior developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of software development experience, specifically with Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Familiarity with optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience in developing innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of responsibility and proactive problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, with Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
