We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with proficiency in AWS and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to augment our remote team.
As our Product Engineer, your responsibilities will involve designing and creating scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technical prowess should encompass a wide range of technology territories, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, alongside Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Collaborating with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, your role will ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Applying clean coding principles to all coding and maintenance tasks
- Upholding coding standards through code review
- Ensuring quality deliverables through establishing and maintaining automated tests
- Participating actively in Agile/Scrum development processes and activities
- Delivering code on time and of high quality
- Documenting code and system architecture
- Contributing to system design and architecture discussions
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of software development experience, focusing on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience in creating out-of-the-box solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Skills in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, with Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and strong verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
