We are in search of a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS proficiency and a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to become part of our remote team.
The role of Product Engineer will involve you in the design and development of software solutions that are scalable and maintainable. Your technological expertise should span a wide range of areas including, but not limited to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language in conjunction with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will be collaborating with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to assure efficient and timely delivery of the product.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team collaboration to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Design and implementation of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles in code creation and maintenance
- Code review for enforcing coding standards
- Establishment and preservation of automated tests for quality deliverables
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Participation in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience with a focus on Java
- Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Previous experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in optimizing complex, high-load systems with transactions
- Experience in developing innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership sense and proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent English language skills, Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
