Our remote team is in search of a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS expertise and profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
As a Product Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technical prowess should span a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Scala, and Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Working side by side with a diverse group of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure the product is delivered efficiently and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Involvement with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and deliver solutions
- Creation and execution of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Application of clean coding principles to the creation and maintenance of code
- Upholding coding standards through code review
- Establishment and protection of automated tests for quality assurance
- Participation in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Timely delivery of high-quality code
- Execution of documentation tasks related to code and system architecture
- Involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of mentorship to junior developers in a technical capacity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Past involvement with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience in managing complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Record of creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive approach to problem solving
- Fluency in English, with Upper-Intermediate proficiency level or higher, and dynamic verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical exposure to Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
