Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer with Websphere knowledge to join our team.
Our customer is a leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fashion, luxury, and sports eyewear.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve
- Documenting and monitoring requirements needed to institute proposed updates
- Working closely with Business owners from the customer side for solution elaboration
- Working closely with the team to coordinate and support the development process
- Releasing process management and production release flow preparation
- Accounting for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope
- Working closely with project management teams to successfully monitor the progress of initiatives
- Providing detailed specifications for proposed solutions
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Java and JEE
- 1+ year of solution architecture experience
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere 8 and HCL 9.1
- Good understanding of development principles and paradigms
- Eager for self-learning as well as for learning from industry experts
- Able to work independently and mindfully as part of a multi-location multicultural team
- Experience with IBM WebSphere eCommerce8
- Understanding of Solr Search, Oracle DB
- English level B2+
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure Cloud Stack
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Rundeck
- Experience with BitBucket, GitFlow
