We are seeking a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS proficiency and a solid knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms for our remote team.
In the role of our Product Engineer, your duties will involve the creation and implementation of software solutions that boast scalability and maintainability. Your expertise should span various technology disciplines, like Java, Kotlin, Scala, or the Go Language, alongside Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. This position requires you to collaborate with a range of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to guarantee the on-time delivery of quality products.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams for understanding project requirements and crafting solutions
- Development and implementation of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Creation and maintenance of clean, standard code
- Undertaking code reviews to ensure compliance with coding norms
- Establishment and continual upkeep of automated tests to ensure the quality of deliverables
- Active involvement in Agile/Scrum development processes and related activities
- Guaranteeing timely delivery and quality of code
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Participation in system design and architecture discussions
- Offering technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, specifically in Java
- Prior exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and integration
- Conversant with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving approach
- Fluent in English with a level of Upper-Intermediate or higher, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with remote teams
Nice to have
- Past experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
