We seek a Senior Java Developer possessing a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms and robust skills in AWS.
As part of our remote team, this individual will function as our Product Engineer, utilizing a diverse technological skill set encompassing, but not limited to, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. The role entails active participation in a team consisting of developers, and testers, among others, to render on-time, quality product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and develop solutions
- The ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Regular creation and maintenance of clean code
- Reviews of code for compliance with coding standards
- Development and maintenance of automated tests to ensure quality
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Accountability for quality and timely code delivery
- Documentation of system architecture and code
- Participation in discussions about system design and architecture
- Technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or affiliated field
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java
- Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of ownership
- Fluency in English with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher for effective communication in remote teams
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
