Our search is focused on finding an experienced Senior Java Developer well-versed in AWS. The ideal candidate would bring a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, your responsibilities will pivot around designing and building scalable, maintainable software solutions. You would be handling a variety of technologies including Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, alongside Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Collaborating with a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, your main objective would be delivering products on time and maintaining top quality.
Responsibilities
- Partnership with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and formulate solutions
- Development and execution of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Creation and management of code following clean coding principles
- Implementation of code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Establishment and upkeep of automated tests to assure quality of deliverables
- Active participation in the Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Ascertainment of punctuality and quality in code delivery
- Documentation process for code and system architecture
- Engagement in system design and architecture discussions
- Technical guidance and mentorship for less experienced developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, with an emphasis on Java
- Demonstrated expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Previous experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL tools, APIs and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- High level of ownership and proactive problem-solving approach
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with a level of Upper-Intermediate or higher for successful collaboration with remote teams
Nice to have
- Previous exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
