We're seeking a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS proficiency and in-depth knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
In the role of our Product Engineer, you'll be involved in both designing and building software solutions that exemplify scalability and maintainability. Your technical abilities should span multiple areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You'll be collaborating closely with fellow developers, testers, and various team members to facilitate prompt, high-quality product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborative work with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and craft solutions
- Development and implementation of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Creation and preservation of code grounded in clean coding principles
- Execution of code reviews to confirm compliance with coding standards
- Formation and upkeep of automated tests to check deliverable quality
- Active role in the Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Guarantee of code delivery timeliness and excellence
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Attendance in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Previous experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving aptitude
- High fluency in English, with verbal and written communication skills suitable for successful remote teamwork
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
